These terms govern your use of CV MAXER. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
CV MAXER provides AI-assisted tools to draft, score, and tailor CVs and related career content. AI suggestions are produced by third-party providers and may contain errors — you are responsible for reviewing every suggestion before relying on it.
2. Account
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
- One human per account. Sharing credentials breaks our abuse controls.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit content you do not own or have the right to use.
- Submit malware, illegal content, or anything that violates a third party's rights.
- Reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or use it to train a competing AI model.
- Bypass rate limits or abuse the AI endpoints.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the resume content you upload or write. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, transform, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (including sending it to AI providers to generate suggestions). The licence ends when you delete the content.
5. Paid plans
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing.
- Vietnamese users may pay via SePay; international users via Stripe.
- Refunds: pro-rated refunds within 14 days of first purchase if you have made minimal use of the AI features. Contact billing@cvmaxer.com.
6. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (AI providers, payment processors), or force majeure events may interrupt the service.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". AI output is not legal, financial, medical, or career advice. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes go to the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City unless a mandatory consumer-law forum says otherwise.
11. Changes
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be emailed to active accounts and noted at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
